In the early days of Plus, almost everything happened over email. From inviting hosts, to scheduling inspections, delivering design feedback, coordinating photoshoots, and more, we had to keep hosts motivated to keep moving forward. I developed our strategy and guidelines for all productized emails, and created hundreds of emails, covering every step of the onboarding process and ensuring consistency across the experience.
To help hosts learn more about the program and get their listings Plus-ready, we created the Airbnb Plus Home Checklist. It lives in product and also as a landing page, outlining in detail everything we look for during an inspection.
